As academic editor and editorial board member for several international journals, I always attempt to strength the journals' mission by fostering vigorous, informative, peered discussion and debate. I make every effort to join in their discussions where appropriate, propose suggestions for improvement in the journals' services, offer advice on the strategic direction, assist and help out as well chief editors in establishing suitable policies and where possible endorse and  promote the journals to members of the profession.

My role and responsibility as managing editor for some academic journals consti­tute actively participating in selection of papers and articles, appointing editors as well reviewers for peer review of manuscripts. I hold also the responsibility to publish high quality research papers. Therefore, the decision I take regarding the acceptance or rejection of the manuscript should depend all the time on the worthiness, quality and originality of the content. In view of what mentioned,  I'm certain that with so much enthusiasm and support, we can make our ambitious goal of narrowing the digital divide through knowledge sharing a reality.
